The Chinese version was sung by Yao Li ( Hue Lee ) who sang the famous Rose Rose I Love You in Shanghai in 1940.Her song Rose Rose I love You was discovered in UK and US in 1950, a full ten years later !She is 91 and still living in HK ! She started singing from 1930 to 1960 era !

Wow! This was so true for my bride in 1966. She was only 17 and I was 22. Thanks for this memory that exists to this dare.

Heres from England I had the greatest pleasure and honour to meet the Kalin Twins when they were in England back in 2000, last time they were here was 1958. we met went to China town and had a great meal. great people who are very much missed. I love you both Hal and Herb......miss ya both... RIP
