I think they are just overrated. Much of this magic is done in post processing and EQ/FX applied to the vocals. This is NOT dry vocals or it would sound much crappier. Apply the magic of EQ/FX and you can do magic. No human voice can sound like that on a dry track. lol such fools for believing this can be done with voice alone.
