Do you even know the Bible at all?? One, it is not polytheistic, it is monotheistic. Yahweh is one of the many names of God, like Jehovah, Jehovah-Jirah, etc. Also, it is not based off the Caananite religion. The canaanites were not the Jews, and yes they were polytheistic, but the Israelites, the people you are trying to talk about, were monotheistic. why not learn about the Bible before you make some random claim about it.
actually the bible says that their is one god, but all the saints, angels, demons, and the devil lead me to believe that even the bible is polytheistic(taken somewhat out of context)
The bible is based off the Hebrew and Greek scriptures (christianity, a belief in one god or trinity of the father son and holy spirit, just like all the authors of it, not like the Canaanites who had many gods), and yahweh is translated in Hebrew as Jehovah you goof, the god of love. actually research before you say shit on the internet.
