From the time Alex came back in 1985 with his "No Sex" single, he was on a roll right up to his death. I understand the obsession with his Box Tops and Big tar periods and I am into that stuff as well, but since the time period he was touring with the trio set up was the time I was growing up and seeing him live, this era was very important to me as a developing musician.
